New anonymous Open Data API Key

Since May 16th, a new anonymous Open Data API key is available on our developer portal. It is important to know that as of July 1, the old anonymous Open Data API key no longer works.

As of July 1, it is only possible to use the new anonymous API key. The reason for this is that the use of old scripts that accidentally keep running no longer cause unnecessary load. In this way, the fair use policy is guaranteed.

Registered Open Data API Key

If you do not want to be affected by these changes, we recommend creating an account on the developer portal so that you can request a registered API key. These registered API keys do not change and therefore offer more stability. If you use an anonymous key and want a registered key, you can find the manual on the developer portal. If you have any questions or need help registering for an API key, please feel free to contact us.

If you use a registered key, such as the registered Open Data API key, you do not need to take any action.
