Web Mapping Service available for WINS50 data
The KDP development team has integrated a Web Mapping Service (WMS) into KDP. The WINS50 dataset was the first to be made available via this WMS API. With the service it is possible to directly request map images of data. Other data will also be made available via WMS next year.
For this service the KNMI ADAGUC software was used, for more information about this Open Source software see adaguc.knmi.nl.
List of new datasets
A number of new datasets have been added to KDP. Below is a table with dataset name and link:

CESAR data on KDP temporarily stopped
For your information, the KNMI CESAR datasets are currently not available at KDP as of January 1, 2021 onwards. The underlying observations since January 1, 2021 have been secured and are still being collected and stored, and will be made available at a later date. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Version 1 Actual 10 minutes data phased out per January 10, 2022
It was announced earlier, we are 'really' going to phase out version 1 of the actual 10 minute data, as of January 10, 2022. An official deprecation/phasing out header has now been added in the metadata. This is necessary to ensure that the process runs smoothly. It concerns 'Meteo data - actual synoptic weather observations KNMI Netherlands per 10 minutes', version 1.
We have been using version 2 for a while now it contains both the date and the measurement time in the file name. If you have not yet switched, we recommend that you do so as soon as possible. Version 2 can be found on KDP here: Actuele10mindataKNMIstations/2
KNMI Data transferred
In November we experienced some hiccups with some datasets. This is because we have made the final steps to move all our KNMI data to a new environment. However, this has brought a number of complications. We are working hard to fully restore this as soon as possible.
